Inflatable Christmas Decorations Make a Beautiful Holiday Statement!
Karen and Suzy were battling the holiday crowds at their local warehouse store in search of inflatable Christmas decorations. Suzy was looking for a Santa on a chopper, while Karen had told Suzy that she really wanted to find one of those big Christmas inflatable yard decorations!
They found interesting Christmas inflatables like an inflatable nativity scene, but Karen really wanted something more unique. She was looking for Giant Snow Globes with beautiful colors.
“You know, I’ll bet you could find really neat Christmas inflatable decorations online,” Suzy suggested. “Why don’t we get out of this circus, we’ll go back to my house, and we can shop on the Internet while drinking eggnog.”
“Yeah, okay,” Karen perked up.
The pair of friends fought their way out of the store and through the dangerously overloaded parking lot to Suzy’s SUV. Karen and Suzy were neighbors as well as friends, and when they pulled into Suzy’s driveway, Karen’s children came hurtling toward the car screaming, “Did you get it, Mom? Did you get it?” The kids had been expecting their mother to return with a fun, new, inflatable yard decoration!
“No, guys,” Karen answered her brood. Suzy and I are going into her house to shop on the computer for a little while. You all go help your Dad unpack the other Christmas decorations.
Moments later, Karen and Suzy were seated comfortably in front of Suzy’s computer, each with a glass of eggnog. Karen went to her favorite search engine and typed in “inflatable Christmas yard decorations.” The multitude of webpages returned by the search engine made her wonder what on earth had possessed her to go to that warehouse store in the first place.
The online merchants had all the standards too-snowglobes, snowmen, Santa popping out of the chimney—but Karen also found something that sparked her interest.
“Oh my gosh, Suz, look at this!” She pointed to the image on the computer screen, which bore the description, “inflatable Santa on Harley."
An enormous guffaw erupted from Suzy. The inflatable toys were funny to be sure, but perhaps the eggnog was already beginning to affect Suzy. “Karen! You have to get that!” she screeched through her laughter.
Karen was laughing now too—partly at the Christmas decorations and partly at Suzy. “This is too cute! I’m buying it! I’m totally buying it!”
Karen placed her order for “inflatable Santa on chopper,” selected an expedited shipping method. “Well, that was a lot easier than going to the store for inflatable outdoor Christmas decorations.”
“Yeah, and a lot more entertaining too,” Suzy agreed.
